# Inside China's largest men's hair factory: what 60 minutes of detail does for your hairline
Most hair workshops look the same when you walk in: rows of people tying knots. Ours looks a little different. The first thing you notice isn't the hair, it's the clock on the wall. Every batch of human hair that comes through here spends close to an hour on cuticle processing before anyone ties a single knot. That hour is why our systems look the way they do.

We're LYRICAL HAIR. If you've shopped for men's hair systems online, you know the catalogs by now: thin skin, Swiss lace, French lace, "natural-looking results." A lot of what's sold comes through middlemen. We don't work that way. We run Qingdao's largest men's hair factory, and the biggest factory in China that makes men's systems and nothing else. We also keep a direct office in the US, so when you call, you reach the people who built your system instead of a reseller working from a script.
Why the extra hour matters
Cheap systems are usually processed in minutes. Ours spends as much as 60 minutes in fine cuticle removal. That's the step that decides whether hair lies flat and catches light like real hair does, or ends up coarse to the touch. It's also why our systems still look right after months, while cheaper ones have gone dry and straw-like by the third or fourth wash.
Colors that actually match
We carry 124 colors and over 4,000 SKUs ready to ship, so matching your natural shade is usually a matter of picking one, not guessing. Grey is where most buyers get let down. It has to blend, and it isn't one-size-fits-all, so we stock blends from 5% grey up to 90%. There are 48,000 grey-blend units in the warehouse as I write this. Whatever your hair is doing at 45, whether that's a little silver at the temples or full salt-and-pepper, there's a system that fades into it without a line you can see.
The hairline is the hard part
Hairlines are where a system works or doesn't. Ours go through a bleached-knot treatment that makes the knots disappear into the scalp, so the edge reads as invisible. From across a table, there's nothing for anyone to notice.

Where all of this comes from
The pattern in all of it is that we own the factory, not the ad space, and that shows up in practical ways. Because we build the systems ourselves, the smaller sizes (5x7, 6x8, 7x9, 7x10, 8x10 etc.) ship straight from stock, so a weeks-long wait becomes a few days. When stock won't do, our custom service builds one to your measurements and stays with you from start to finish.
That's the difference between buying hair and buying the right hair from the people who made it.
